College is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Nursing and Paramedical Education (MSBNPE), Mumbai; Maharashtra Nursing Council (MNC) and Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi.

  • Situated at the MKSSS Ratnagiri project campus, Shirgaon, 5 km away from Ratnagiri city
  • MKSSS College of Nursing Ratnagiri is a constituent of the Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha, established in October 2023, committed to advancing women’s education in the field of nursing. The college offers a nursing program, namely Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife, with an enrollment of approximately 20 female students.

Physical Facilities

The college has its own building with spacious classrooms, a conference hall, a well-equipped staff room, an administrative room, a multipurpose hall, and the principal’s office.

  • Library - The college has a library with 613 latest books of Indian and foreign authors on nursing, allied, and general topics, as well as e-learning facilities like e-books. An extensive library offered at the library by various authors on nursing and literature (library services), and book bank availability.
  • Laboratory - The college offers a community health nursing lab, a maternal and child health nursing lab, a nutrition lab, an anatomy lab equipped with specimens, models, modern AV aids, and a foundation lab featuring dummies for clinical teaching of students.
  • Clinical Facility - The college has two parent hospitals, Chintamani Hospital and Chirayu Hospital, with all advanced care facilities in Ratnagiri.
  • Hostel - Students are provided with a well-equipped hostel of 200 capacity that includes mess facilities and recreational amenities on the same campus.
